What Traffic Sources Work?
When you get into the internet, and start to try to create something amazing that people are going to want, you need to find traffic sources! If you put out a great article, or a great product, and NO ONE sees it, what’s the point? You need to get eyeballs on your stuff. The unfortunate part though is that search engine algorithms are ever changing, and very critical.
This image is a very basic example of how the web crawlers decide which sites get traffic. These factors are rated based on content, backlinks, page speed, relevance and a ton of other factors. I believe the programmers that build these algorithms mean well, but what actually happens is that good helpful content sometimes gets buried. That happens because the producer of the content might not have a full grasp of what is expected.
This makes it harder for the person making the website to get his/her pages to rank. That is why alternative traffic sources become so important, until the page can build a presence!
Getting Traffic Should Be Easier
Said every internet marketer out there peddling garbage products. Traffic should not be easy to get, but it should be reasonable to get! In the past a lot of sites were absolute disasters and they would key word stuff their sites! That made the inception of algorithms to track that shit necessary. But like all things, it went a bridge too far and good content now gets suppressed.
I’d even go a step further. People that are programmers, or understand the algorithm, can game it. I still see a lot of garbage on Google’s page 1. This irritates me, as my site only comes up at number 17, SO FAR! It will get better because, YOU, my readers will help with that.
What is a blogger or internet marketer, that’s selling good stuff, meant to do. There is a way to get traffic to your site, with less reliance on Google or Bing. We will cover three of them today. I will be straight up, two of them require financial commitment. It is reasonable and the results are worth the cost of admission.

You hear a lot of people say, the money is in the list. That is definitely true! However, the money is also in the traffic sources! If no one sees your stuff, no one signs up, and you make no sales. The beginning of internet marketing is traffic. You have to get your offer in front of peoples eyeballs. That means getting it on their screens.
When you have a steady flow of traffic coming through your site, you get sales. You make money! It’s that simple. If you have ever been to Las Vegas, you know that they are professionals at this! Every casino, store, restaurant and shop is designed so you have to go in or near them. They keep a steady flow of foot traffic coming through and that means sales.
It’s the same with internet traffic. Keep ’em coming in and eventually they will buy. Easy. Right? Wrong! For the reasons I mentioned above. Algorithms make it harder to get traffic. Hence why I and many others have found other traffic sources. The first one takes work and time, but has no cost.

The first traffic source is quite underutilized. Your good content can quickly out rank those that are there. Quora is used regularly by many to draw traffic to their websites. The secret to Quora is consistency. You will not get anywhere being wishy washy on Quora. The other point is that you have to give far more than you get there.
People on Quora are not looking to spend money. They are looking for answers to real questions. By being a source of those answers you will attract a following. Once you have a following, you will have people naturally checking out your website, or link tree in your bio. This is high quality, targeted traffic. They are going to your site because you have piqued their interest.

Within two weeks of consistent posting my content was monetized. You will not retire posting on Quora, however, being monetized gives your posts higher ranking. It takes time, but is worth the work. If you are online every day anyway, take some time to post here.
Traffic Sources, Two Of Three
When I discovered this traffic source I was blown away! I had never heard of this site. I gained over two hundred leads in three days. Another cool thing is that I am growing a network of amazing marketers willing to help and discuss marketing concepts. The sellers help with your landing pages. There are also stats on every seller. How many sales they make, how many likes they get. How many repeat customers and so on!

The delivery takes a few days usually, partially because they are busy. It is also because they want to make sure you get the best value.

Once you are a member, the traffic packs are reasonable, and amazing. This is my number one source of traffic. Not only do I get traffic every month, I get leads. These leads are part of the program. The traffic is extra.

Traffic Is What You Need
Once you build a great website, capture page and offer page you need to get eyeballs in front of it. These three traffic sources are a good start, and learning basic SEO will also help. I use All In One SEO on this current site. Keeps my writing in check, and helps me with key words and so on.
As time goes on, and you are consistent, everything stays and works together to increase your traffic. These three traffic sources will help you manage that in the meantime and if you get a good following, the backlinks will build themselves.
